As a part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League B, Bahrain and Singapore took part in the face off on the 26th match on February 13, 2025. The match began at Tin Kwong Road Recreation ground with Bahrain’s win over the toss and they chose to bowl first. Except the openers, Gulecha’s 34 and Kukreja’s 25 runs, nobody could anchor their team with a powerful batting. Bahrain successfully ripped off the top-order, middle-order completely and wrapped the total to 117 at 33.4 overs.
With the target of 118 runs, Bahrain’s Fiaz Ahmed, Sohail Ahmed took their team into the path of victory by cementing their partnership of 90 runs. At 24.4 overs Bahrain sealed their victory against Singapore with eight wickets in hand.
