ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is gaining momentum before it kickstarts in host nation Pakistan. Today in an official announcement the International Cricket Council has announced the prize money, schedule, and format for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
This year it is the return of the Champions Trophy after eight years and the top 8 cricket teams will participate across the world.
The 8 teams of this tournament are divided into two groups. According to the ICC “Group A features Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and New Zealand, while Group B includes Afghanistan, England, Australia, and South Africa. The tournament opener will see the home team, Pakistan, face New Zealand on February 19th in Karachi.”
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi finals.
