Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed optimism on Monday that inflation in Pakistan would continue to decrease. During a press chat, PM Sharif attributed that government is working to stabilize the economy and curtail inflation. He claimed that they were making significant improvements, although more work was still needed to restore the economy of Pakistan.
He said the economy had stabilized into inflation in single digits. He appreciated the good work done in the banking sector. He assured the people that inflation would go further down in the coming days.
Also, he laid great emphasis on unity, collective work and hard work from all walks of government, civil servant and military sectors if Pakistan is to see in the long run a stable and prosperous future. To this end, Sharif confirmed his belief in the capability of the big nation to turn around the corner.
