Pakistan celebrates a holiday on 23 March every year to commemorate the passing of Lahore’s Resolution. This day is formerly known as Pakistan’s day.
There is an official holiday for schools and offices on this day but this year 23 March is falling on Sunday which is an obvious public holiday.
Also due to Ramdan, Public is expecting an alternate day off from the government.
However there has not been an official announcement from the Government made yet.
There are chances that the parade for 23 March will happen at the President’s house instead of its traditional venue.
Also there would be a limited aerial performance by the Pakistan Air Force and less number of Military equipment would be displayed at exhibition.
An official program is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the heads of the army, navy, and air force.
