Meanwhile some serious issues were found in the exam process. It was reported that some invigilators who were supposed to supervise the exams had only an intermediate qualification. This matter came up during a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) supervised by Chairman Junaid Akbar. The audit also found that about Rs. 26 million was paid in cash for the exams which raised many concerns. Chairman Junaid Akbar has now ordered that no more cash payments should be made and that all appointments must follow the proper rules.
