Forza Horizon 5, the latest installment in the hugely popular racing game franchise, is coming to the PlayStation 5 this spring. The exact release date has not been announced yet. But it is expected that the game is going to land anytime soon.
Supported by Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, Forza Horizon games used to be accessible on only Xbox and PC for more than 10 years. But in an effort for expansion, the gamers are bringing the racing game to the PlayStation too.
Forza Horizon 5 on the PlayStation 5 is going to feature 900 cars and 40 thematic game updates at the time of launch. Besides this racing game, the gaming studio is also bringing some more names to the system. Players need to purchase them separately.
Set in Mexico, Forza Horizon 5 is expected to feature cross-play support. This means players shall get the opportunity to compete against one another no matter the type of system they are using – be it PlayStation, Xbox or PC.
Compared to its racing simulator sibling, Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon 5 builds on its predecessor and takes a more arcade-y approach. Besides the racing game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is also coming to the PlayStation 5.
