Pakistani cricketer Hasan Nawaz put in a jaw-dropping performance of batting and rewrote history by blasting the fastest T20I century for Pakistan.
Nawaz achieved this remarkable milestone in just 44 balls during the third T20I against New Zealand in Auckland, breaking the previous record held by Babar Azam, who scored a 49-ball century against South Africa in 2021.
Hasan Nawaz opened the innings alongside Mohammad Haris, and the pair immediately went on an all-out offensive against the Kiwi bowlers.
The duo took Pakistan to a record 75-1 in the powerplay, making the chase easier.

He scored his fifty in 26 balls, kept moving and hit a century in just 44 balls. His innings included 12 fours and 5 sixes, with an exceeding strike rate of 227.
This century showed Nawaz’s great talent and also proved Pakistan’s strong batting. The team reached the target in just 16 overs.
