Lahore Blues Won National T20 Cup

On Thursday night at Iqbal Stadium, Lahore blue won the National T20 cup title with a nine wicket win over Peshawar in the final match.

The Peshawar team won toss and decided to bat first but only managed to score 10-9 in 20 overs.

On the other hand Lahore blues chased the target of 111 runs in just 16 overs without trouble.

Salman Mirza was the star bowler for Lahore Blues. He took 4 wickets for 21 runs in his four overs. Mohammad Irfan also bowled well and secured 2 wickets for 20 runs.

Umar Siddique and Junaid Ali from Lahore blues also made a match winning partnership.

Umar Siddique got 64 runs off 46 balls with six fours and two sixes while Junaid Ali made 30 off 30.

Lahore Blues dominated both with the bat and ball and  secured a well-deserved National T20 Cup title.

Lahore Blues was awarded with winner prize of PKR 5 million while the runners up Peshawar got PKR 2.5 million.
