Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced a 20% reduction in train fares on the occasion of Eidul Fitr. The Ministry of Railways issued a statement on Saturday confirming this discount.
Pakistan Railways (PR) has planned four special Eid trains to manage rush of travelers during Eid. These trains will run before and after Eid to make travel easier for passengers across the country.
One of the major routes in this operation will be from Quetta to Peshawar, passing through Sibbi, Sukkur/Rohri, Khanewal, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
According to Pakistan Railways CEO Amir Ali Baloch,
“Our Eid operation will begin on March 28, with three special trains departing before Eid and one on the third day of Eid.”
