On Monday morning, Former Bangladesh cricket team captain, Tamim Iqbal, experienced a heart attack while playing in a Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League match.
A match was between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club in Savar at the BKSP ground.
Tamim was leading Mohammedan Sporting Club and was fielding when he started feeling chest pain.
Tamin was given emergency medical treatment at a local hospital in Savar. Arrangements were made to transfer him to tertiary care by helicopter but his condition started worsening again on a way to the helipad. So he was returned to hospital.
Currently, he is on life support at Fazilatunnesa Hospital. Drs has reported that he had a massive heart attack due to blockage. A stunt has been placed and drs are closely monitoring his condition.
