The International Cricket Council has already announced the schedule for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and the UAE. The 15-match, eight-team tournament is returning for the first time since 2017.
From February 19 to March 9, eight high-performing teams from across the globe such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and England are going to put it all on the line for the trophy. The UAE has been chosen as the neutral stadium.
February 22 is going to see one of the most celebrated matches in the international sport – Australia vs England – in Lahore. The next day, the audience is up for the unmissable Pakistan vs India clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Batters expected to shine at Champions Trophy 2025
1. Shreyas Iyer (India)
Matches – 65
Runs – 2602
HS – 128
Centuries – 5
Fifties – 20*
Shreyas Iyer is hugely important for the Indian setup, especially considering the patchy recent forms of veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
2. Fakhar Zaman (Pakistan)
Matches – 85
Runs – 3627
HS – 210
Centuries – 11
Fifties – 17
Fakhar Zaman is one of the most prominent limited-overs openers from Pakistan. He is capable of changing the game’s complexion in a matter of moments.
3. Den Duckett (England)
Matches – 19
Runs – 831
HS – 107
Centuries – 2
Fifties – 6
Ben Duckett is England’s enforcer at the top. He forms a dangerous left-right combination beside opener Phil Salt, and together they are going to be instrumental.
