Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is due to make his maiden official visit to Pakistan on February 27th Today at the invitation of the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif. His visit is a major step in consolidating the centuries old diplomatic and economic links between the two countries.

The Crown Prince will also be accompanied by a high-level delegation including ministers, senior officials and prominent business leaders from the UAE. It is evident from the visit that Pakistan and the UAE are bound with deep rooted fraternal ties and their commitment to strengthening the bilateral economic partnership.
Taking advantage of his stay, the Sheikh will have extended discussions with the Pakistan leadership on subjects of mutual interest majorly focused on invigorating trade, investment and economic cooperation. This will help reaffirm the historical bonds and expand dialogue across sectors including energy, infrastructure and defense.
The statement by the Foreign Office (FO) announced that a number of agreements and MoUs will be signed during the visit so as to enhance the existing framework for long-term cooperation. This would include exploring new joint ventures and investment projects that shall solidify further the economic relations between the two nations.
Historically, the relationship between Pakistan and the UAE has been characterized by mutual respect, trust and colliding ambitions. The visit highlights both country’s commitment to elevating bilateral cooperation and reinforcing the growing partnership while fostering deeper economic prosperity.
