Muhammad Ali, the fast bowler of Peshawar Zalmi appeared in his first match of PSL season 10 against Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday. But things did not go well for him that day.
Mohammed Ali was one of the top bowlers with 18 wickets in last season. But this time he gave away 57 runs in 4 overs and could not take any wickets against Quetta Gladiators. This became the second worst bowling performance in Peshawar Zalmi history. The only worse one was by Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai who gave 62 runs but took 2 wickets.
Mohammad Ali’s spell is also one of the worst in the whole PSL history. The worst spell ever was by Qais Ahmad who gave 77 runs in 4 overs in 2023.
Peshawar Zalmi gave away a huge score of 216 runs to Quetta Gladiators because of Mohammed Ali’s poor bowling. Quetta Gladiators openers Finn Allen and Saud Shakeel batted very well and scored quick half centuries to help their team.
