دی پاکستان ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اتھارٹی (PTA) has made it much easier for overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors to use their mobile phones in Pakistan. They have introduced a Temporary Mobile Registration System that lets visitors register their personal phones for up to 120 days during each visit.
This new system was created because many travelers often face problems using their phones with local networks. Now with this easy process, visitors can stay connected without any hassle.
The best part is that the whole system is completely free, fully online and very simple to use. Travelers can register their phones through the Device Registration System (DRS) portal without needing to visit any government office or deal with complicated paperwork.
It is a big step towards making sure that people have smooth digital experiences during their stay in the country.
PTA said that they are committed to offering modern, fast and easy to use digital services. Systems like this not only solve real problems for travelers but also help Pakistan move forward with stronger digital services and better public support.
