دی government of Punjab has officially announced a nine day holiday for all private and public schools throughout the province.
The holidays period will begin on March 28 and will end on April 7, 2025.
The announcement is in line with the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s prediction that Eid Ul Fitr is most likely to fall on Monday, March 31.

According to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikander Hayat both government and private schools will have the same holiday schedule.
School Secretary Khalid Wattoo confirmed that annual results for schools will be announced on April 4 , 2025.
Before the Punjab Government announcement, the Federal Government had already issued notification regarding the public holidays on Eid ul Fitr 2025.
According to notification, public holidays will be observed from Monday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 2 countrywide.
