WhatsApp Beta Introduces One Tap Voice Note Recording for iOS Users
WhatsApp is making it even easier to send voice messages with a new feature in its latest iOS beta update.
According to WABetaInfo users who have installed WhatsApp beta version 25.13.10.70 through the TestFlight app can now record voice notes with just a single tap. There is no longer any need to keep holding or swiping the microphone button.
Previously users had two choices, they could either press and hold the mic button for quick voice notes or swipe up to lock it for longer recordings. Now WhatsApp has combined both methods. As soon as you tap the mic button, the recording lock activates automatically.
This small change is designed to make voice note recording simpler and more user friendly. Although it might take a little getting used to but most users are expected to adapt quickly.
Right now the new feature is available only for selected beta testers but WhatsApp plans to expand it to more users in the coming weeks.
